SinTree Age Verification (AV) Policy

1. Purpose

This Age Verification (AV) Policy sets out the steps SinTree takes to ensure that all users of our platform — both content creators and fans — are 18 years of age or older, in compliance with applicable laws and industry best

practices.

2. Scope

This policy applies to: fans/consumers, creators/performers, and SinTree staff and moderators who oversee compliance.

3. Verification Methods

Primary Age Verification Provider: SinTree uses Yoti for real-time ID and biometric checks.

Secondary Safeguards: Sightengine AI moderation and manual KYC reviews.

Account Restrictions: Users cannot access adult content until verified 18+.

4. Ongoing Monitoring

Automated scanning and user reports are used to detect and suspend potentially underage accounts pending re-verification. Regular audits are performed

5. Data Protection

SinTree does not store identity documents directly. All AV checks are handled securely through Yoti. Only verification status is stored.

6. Compliance and Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or as required by new regulations (e.g., UK Online Safety Act, EU DSA, US state AV laws). SinTree works with regulators and partners to ensure compliance.
